It was always the first sign you were getting close! Looming high in the sky, the Disneyland marquee recalls wonderful memories for Disneyland Park Guests around the world. To make way for the new Disneyland Resort expansion and Disney's California Adventure Park, the third Disneyland marquee that sat on Harbor Boulevard from 1989-1999 was removed. Disney Auctions was lucky enough to get this truly one-of-a-kind piece of theme park history. The "Disneyland" letters each measure a whopping 13'6" tall and are made from galvanized steel. The letters are in good condition, albeit a bit weathered from 10 years of exposure, and arrive with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Now you can hang these letters on your wall, if you have enough space. Disney Auctions proudly offers the Disneyland Marquee for auction. Don't miss out on this truly unique artifact from Disneyland history!

"For centuries, man had but his own two eyes to explore the wonders of his world, then he invented the microscope... a mighty eye... and discovered the fantastic universe beyond the limits of his own meager sight. Now your adventure through inner space has begun."
From August 5, 1967, to September 2, 1985, the Adventure Thru Inner Space attraction transported millions of Disneyland Park Guests through a giant microscope to see the inside of an atom. Although the Monsanto-sponsored attraction has long since faded into the Disney history books, Disney Auctions proudly presents this original miniature "atomobile" from inside the mighty microscope. Made of composition wood, the blue Omnimover measures 8-3/4" high by 6-3/4" wide by 6-1/2" deep and has a metal rod extending from the bottom of the vehicle. Inside, the atomobile, two 1960s era Disneyland Guests look on as they become smaller and smaller and smaller.
This one-of-a-kind Disneyland artifact is sure to be the biggest, well perhaps the smallest, hit of any Disney collection.
"Yes, the snowflake has melted, but there is no cause for alarm. You are back on visual and returning to your normal size."

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, a widowed gentleman lived in a fine house with his only daughter. He gave his beloved child everything her heart desired–beautiful dresses, a horse,a puppy. Still, he felt she needed a mother's care. So he married again, choosing a woman with two young daughters who, he hoped, would be playmates for his little girl. Sad to say, the good man died a short time later, and the stepmother began to show her true nature. The poor girl was forced to wear a coarse, plain dress and was made to do all the hardest jobs in the house.
Such is the story of Walt Disney's 1950 animated classic "Cinderella." Disney Auctions proudly presents this special tribute to this Disney masterpiece in celebration of the film's 50th Anniversary.
Long before the Disney animated classic, the story of Cinderella in its western form had consistently been rewritten and analyzed since Charles Perrault first published "Cendrillon" in France in 1697. Robert Samber translated it into English in 1729 and Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm included it in the first edition of "Kinder-und Hausmarchen" in 1812.
